SpaceController – ISD (Industrial Steering Device)
The ISD, also known as ErgoCommander* or RoboCommander*, from our SpaceController series, is an industrial, three-dimensional control element based on a wear-free optoelectronic measurement system.
This measurement system operates unaffected by temperature, contamination, aging, and component tolerances, ensuring robust, long-lasting, and consistent operation. This makes it ideal for industrial applications.
It enables users to control complex motion sequences easily and intuitively in any desired direction.
The ISD can be adapted to a wide range of application-specific control specifications and can also be housed in custom enclosures.
The experienced SpaceControl development team is available to assist you with the integration of our products and will work with you to find the right solution for your application.

SpaceController – OFTS (Optical Force Torque Sensor)
The OFTS is a force-torque sensor with six degrees of freedom. It measures force along the three axes (Fx, Fy, Fz) and their corresponding torques (Mx, My, Mz).
In addition to the standard features of a force-torque sensor, our sensor is also
- Wear-free (due to the optical, non-contact measuring system)
- Cost-effective to purchase
- Cost-effective to implement (RS232/USB interface)
Our OFTS is not a standard solution. Our development team would be happy to work with you to develop a solution tailored to your specific application requirements.
